Hey guys, hoping for some help on an issue with an older board.

    GA-Z68A-D3-B3

I installed the U1B beta BIOS from here some time ago
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z68A-D3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

Problem is, its kinda terrible. No more voltage control, no OCing, and crossfire is broken since the 8x slot is locked at 1x (I didn't notice this until recently, as i split the cards up to different systems for a while)
Earlier in the thread i did see mentions of a newer beta BIOS for this board, but it wouldnt flash - said wrong ID. I saw flash back to award tools as well - they refuse to run with an error code in windows and in DOS.

Any chance i could get some help flashing this thing back to the F11 BIOS where things actually worked? :D

i found a post a few hundred pages in via search with different files and a different file name that didn't work, i guess my mistake was looking for that one again and not under a different name. Thanks, i'll give it a shot now.

yep its flashing just fine, thank you.

edit: crossfire is back and working fine. After checking the OP again the reason i didnt use that tool is because all the boards there are listed as Z68X, and i'm running Z68A. I assumed they were different/incompatible.

Hi stasio, thanks for Your work :)
I have GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK and this mobo have two bios with meccanical switch for selection.
The BIOS release F7 don't permit downgrade, but in this MOBO configuration is possible to put in one part of the BIOS this release and in backup BIOS have precedent release ?

    Thanks
    Daniele

Try to select "Single BIOS" switch.
