    Edit:
    uploaded on first page.
Gigabyte official support page removed the F8a version of the BIOS for Z390 AORUS XTREME motherboard , why is that ??

I just flashed your F8, it isndeed a new version with complete GUI overhaul with might be a better VRM power control profile because I can now run the same with -10mv less VCC for CPU.

The problem is that this F8 BIOS doesnt have the option for disabling the Aquantia10G LAN card.

Any GIGABYTE rep here help me with that please and also the older UI for the BIOS was better in my opinion

Brand new GUI. Some new options. Working fine for me so far.

    What board?
    Does tREFI work for you?
    Master version is not working.
Kedarwolf confirmed it (On overclock.net) also.
Values >9998 for tREFI set it to 65534 by force.
    CPU Current Limit is missing.
CPU PLL Overvoltage +mv is missing
    Vcore/VAXG protection is missing.
Internal VR Settings->None of the settings do anything except the AC and DC loadline settings (been that way for every bios though).

    Z390 AORUS MASTER board.
Everything appears to be working as it should. The F10 BIOS I am using was recently posted at Z390 AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

my findings of F8 BIOS for XTREME :
    # Brand new UI but a bit confusing, i guess I was used to the previous UI and there it was segregated properly and now its all mixed up together :(
    # it doesnt have the option for disabling the 10Gig LAN Controller
    # added option to disable wifi
    # adaptive voltage for CPU with offset is higher than previous versions of BIOS, thats why I could run my OC with more negative offset :(
    # went back to F8a last night
    # VRM loadline calibration profiles are higher than previous BIOSes

    Did you find those settings?
Those three settings I listed are missing in F10.

And the tREFI setting is not working correctly.
    Kedarwolf and I verified that.

The files are byte for byte identical as the one posted originally here.
Have you tried setting a tREFI higher than 9998 ?

You are correct that tREFI is working as you posted. I haven't looked but I assume the three settings you listed aren't there. There are a bunch of settings that raise various voltages 15Mv at a time. I think these are new but not really sure.

I also notice that increasing the BCLK does not increase the memory frequency on the BIOS screen as previous BIOS' did. However, when getting into Windows the memory frequency has been increased.

You are correct how tREFI works in F10.

Can anyone tell me what the first 4 settings do? I upped 3 of them one tick.

Remember I told you. CPU PLL Overvoltage +mv is missing.
It should be above ring PLL Overvoltage +.

it's for some sort of sub zero stuff for very high clocks at extremely low temperatures.
It won't do anything on ambient cooling.

You also don't want to give multiple offsets to different PLL values either.
ALL PLL values are gated from the same 'master' value (not sure what that value is. 1.8v or something--you would have to ask Intel or one of the motherboard makers). These voltages are then "clipped" and then fed to the PLL signal for that rail.
adding an 'overvoltage' +mv allows for less "clipping" of that rail.
I believe the voltages start at 900mv (0.9v) and each step is 15mv higher. So adding +60mv to ring, for example causes the other voltages to have less from the main PLL rail (whatever that is). I'm not talking about "CPU PLL Voltage" either.

If you clip too many values, your cores will crash with a "clock watchdog timeout".

Clipping system agent does nothing but make things more unstable.

is serial port removed from F8 BIOS? I can't find it anywhere on Z390 M GAMING BIOS after update to F8 new BIOS Structure.
