It is not a problem, just easier to use one stick of 2GB ram if you are trying to use 2x2GB. If you are using 2x1GB you can start with both in just fine

That ram brand is fine in Gigabyte boards, you just have to get your settings right is all.

I can see you updated a lot of values from my default values.
Is it necessary? or I can just update my RAM voltage?
No damage may happend from these changes?

No damage will be done. Those ranges (In the timings) are just so you can get the best out of your ram.

If you are using 2x2GB you will need to set at least the following for sure >>>

    Performance Enhance to standard
    Main timings
    trfc to 52-62
    MCH Voltage 1.15-1.3
Ram voltage to spec or just below.

If you absolutely do not want to set things, I would advise you at least put performance enhance on standard and set your ram voltage and MCH Voltage the trfc may be ok in Auto as may be the main timings if you see they are showing up properly

DO keep in mind, Auto will often set things very loose and you will not get the best out of your ram. It can also set things to tight and cause errors

    Okay.
I'll try with these settings, but still something missing:

    what about the following parameters?

    PCI Express Clock Drive.................: <<<
    CPU Clock Skew (ps)....................: <<<

What's the dependency of the CPU clock skew?
How should I decide th CPU and MCH clock skew from the range you gave?
By the way, some of the values you gave me (I can't remember which, right now, since I am not in front of my computer) are exceeding the recommended values as written when entering the BIOS configurations.

    By the way:
is there any possibility to save the bios definitions into a text file on a floppy or to USB drive, so I can copy them here ?

Skew is hard to explain and it is really a trial and error thing. Here is some reading about it >>>
Intel FSB Over Clocking, clock skew and the effects it has on system memory. - OCZ Forum

    Electronic Design Welcome

With the ranges, start lower and see if as you add more it improves stability

What values do you mean? Shouldn't be any I suggested that would be exceeding anything unless I made a mistake (Which could happen as I am human for sure)

that's why i asked, if there is any way that I can save all configurations to a text file and paste it here. is there ?

No, you will have to either write them down on paper or print out this template and go in your BIOS and manually make notes of each setting. Then come back here and post the template and fill in your settings.

Here is the template, copy this into a notepad or word and print it out then go to your BIOS and write what settings you are using. Then come here and paste the empty template back and fill it in with what you are using>>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours
