Hey mate, Im glad u did read my post and replied.

For me this problem sux even more, because I have 4x 1 Patriot 1gb DDR2 800mhz dimms so I cant disable dual channel while using all 4 dimms, now Im using only 2 dimms (slot 1 and 4 trick for single channel).

I was searching on the web for a way to disable dual channel even when the memories are in correct slots or even with all slots occupied, and then I found your post accidentally.

Btw, if u know please tell me because I need the other 2gb for GTA IV :( .

I tried to search for an solution to your problem but didnt find anything.

I guess the only thing you can do is to buy 2x2gb memory. Costs about 45 euro here for 2x2gb corsairs.

Sorry that I couldnt help you but thanks for your help!

Email patriot with your problem MarceloTF, i bet they can help. At least Corsair was nice to help me when i bought some ram, that a former motherboard didn't support. In return, they actually doubled the ram size as well! It's worth a short!

Thx for your help guys but in Brazil the things works in different ways (bad ways), corsair, patriot, kingston and so many other brands offer a lifetime warranty, in Brazil its 1 year warranty.

If I email patriot and send them the memories it will cost so much, its better to buy new rams ... and I REALLY think the problem its not the rams ...

And 45 euro for 2x2gb corsairs? Damn !! I wanna live in Europe !!!

    1 euro = 3,069 reais (brazilian currency)
    45x3,069 = 138 reais

    As u can see here:

    WAZ - Corsair XMS2 DHX - Box

The cheapest available corsair mem in this store costs 279 reais, and this is one the most cheapest stores available in Brazil!

Wow, those are some high prices! I kind off feel bad for you. Still, try to email patriot, they might stand for the shipping costs. Its worth one email :)

Try using only 1 memory module to force single channel and see what happens, if still happens try the other one.

With Vista Ultimate you will get this error:

And will happen many times until you get a BSOD.
