Ok will change the settings tonight and see how I go but since the reflash bios, I've only encountered one crash during a you-tube clip. Will stress it a bit tonight with some gaming after I change the settings.

    Thanks

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but I have the *exact* same issue with this motherboard and memory. You are not alone!

    MB: EP45T-DS3R F3
RAM: Kingston KVR1333D3N9 (bought as a kit of 2 for 4GB)
    CPU: Q9550 (E0)

With default settings the system would power cycle on boot and could not install windows. With only a single DIMM installed I was at least able to get Vista on there.

With the settings Lsdmeasap outlined it is a LOT more stable, even with both DIMMs plugged in. It never power cycles on boot, consistently gets into windows, but still crashes within 15 minutes of Ortho prime.

I have since tried setting the MCH Frequency Latch to 400, but it didn't improve things.

Thank you Lsdmeasap for your help so far... it's infinitely better, but not there yet.

Does that pass memtest86+ what you are using now? Just want to be sure, because if it does pass 3-5 full passes of memtest then your orthos crash is CPU/voltage related, something you need to find out for sure is which issue it is

So do some memtesting for sure and let us know how it goes, if all passes memtest then please post me your full exact settings and I will see if I can help you get past orthos >>>

So far stable a few things:
I used Ctrl F1 never got Driver Strength Profiles
I left the static read value at 7 for both channels
MCH Clock Skew set to 100ps
    MCH Core set to 1.200v

ICH I/O left at 1.500v as only other options were 1.590 or 1.610v
    Set DRAM voltage to 1.6v

Please let me know if leaving STATIC READ VALUE @ 7 needs to be changed

As I said so far so good no freezes - havent re run Memtest86+ or Orthos again yet as I'm still trying to fix the damn Hi-def audio issue that comes with the reinstall :(

    Will post results following testing

I changed the System Memory multiplier to 3.33D -- effectively underclocking the RAM to 1111Mhz -- and it ran Ortho for 18 hours straight with no issues. For the moment I just need a stable machine to get some work done so this is OK.

Hopefully I'll be able to come back and try to fix it for real in a few days; but I thought I'd tell you in case you also are looking for a stable system ASAP. Good luck!
