Default X48-DQ6 not ocing Q6600 one bit! Settings issue?

Im haing probs OCing usin Gigabyte bios. I OC'd my quad usin Asus p5b deluxe to 3.2 stable but when i do that on gigabyte, it wont post! Pretty sure it has something to do with settings. I am running two Corsair dominators 1066 2 x 1gb(2gb in all). Im watercooling btw so i'd love to push it to atleast 3.8 which im sure this board is capable of taking my quad to. Please if you could guide me with the bios settings as this is the first time im ocing using gigabyte board. Thanks.

    Load line calibration DISABLED

Still same thing. Boots, shuts down, reboots, shuts down, boots with default stable settings.

here's wat got my overclock to post:

    Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto]
    CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [7]
    CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
    CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [475]
    PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100]
    C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
    System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00A]
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Auto]
    Performance Enhance = [Standard]

    CAS Latency Time________________ 5
    Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 5
    Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______5
    Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 15

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 4
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 10
    Write to Precharge Delay_________ 12
    Refresh to ACT Delay______________ 40
    Read to Precharge Delay__________ 4
    Static tRead Value_______________ 10
    Static tRead Phase Adjust________ Auto

    System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
    DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.200V]
    PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [Normal]
    FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.25V]
    (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.3V]
    CPU Voltage Control_______ [1.45]

Now im having another issue. CPU-Z latest ed and everest ultimate both show my multiplier to automatically fluctuate between 6 and 7. Mostly stays at 6. Core voltage fluctuates between 1.35 to 1.43. Didnt work for 3.8 ghz though. Still trying!

C1E and EIST need to be disabled, then you can try the above again just dont use the lowest values I posted you have to slowly lower them to try to get there

after disablin em, the overclock doesnt work. The very same thing that was working perfectly suddenly doesnt work cuz i disabled these options. Maybe they were underclocking my cpu so it was working fine.

Sounds like you do not have enough voltage set then add some vcore and you will be fine

Just go in the bios and disable legacy storage devices. Works wonders under integrated devices.

ok tried all that after installing a better watercooling system over the past month. It doesnt work. I used the settings in my latest post above. Can u please give me a fresh set of settings to take my Q6600 to 3.6 with 2 x 1gb 1066mhz set of corsair dominators?
