Ok so you are keeping yor Ram at 800Mhz with the 2.40 multiplier (333x2.40), but those timings are tight considering you are using 4GB.

    I'd try this:-

    1) tFRC (Refresh To Act Delay) to 56
If you still have errors, then,
    2) Set your main memory settings to 5-5-5-15 @1.8 - 2.0volts (depending on your Ram type - ie Kingston version/model)

Thanks for the help folks, I think I found the problem - Tried changing timings and still the same errors - so I started pulling modules and testing one at a time - 3 completed 1 pass all tests with no problems - 1 failed test 3 and ended up with 18 errors when all the tests were done. I think these have a lifetime warranty which should be good since they haven't been overclocked, so I'll check with Kingston on how to get a return - I stuck them all back in the case for now since it's not having any problems which seems odd doesn't it?

Since I'm an impatient type, and the RMA may take a while to turn around - think I'll do some shopping for RAM today since I was contemplating going with more / faster sticks.

So here's my question on RAM - Will DDR 1100 5-5-5-15 be noticably faster than DDR 800 with 4-4-4-12 timings? I'm pretty sure my video editting software will use most of the RAM I feed it (Vegas Pro 8.1 - a 64 bit program). I'd go after a 16 GB set but they are a bit to high for me right now so I'm thinking 8Gb.

Here's the sticks I'm considering - thoughts / suggestions on these or others?

I doubt your ram is faulty. Even though both sticks may behave differently may not suggest one is definately faulty. Even "matched pairs" are matched as best as possible, but doesn't mean they will behave exactly the same.

But to your question. Yes usually a higher FSB with your Memory running faster does give your memory greater throughput (speed) compared to tightening up the basic memory timings alone.

There are a couple of specific settings that make a drastic difference on memory throughput performance - namely tRD (Static Tread Value).
This setting can be found in the bios, but also Memset a windows on-the-fly memory tweaker, alows you to alter this. Using a quick Benchmarker, say Everest will show you just how much difference altering thi setting makes. Forget about general Ram timings or FSB speed, this setting is the Godfather. It obviously has a down side too. If you push too much for speed, you'll end up trading off your stability - so a happy medium needs to be found.

What's a good starting / ending point or range to play with on rRD?

Initially I let the bios on Auto give me an idea as to what was acceptable for a particular frequency. Then I would decrement tRD using MemSet in windows and use the Everest Memory benchmark suite to compare changes. If you go too low, windows will freeze or reboot.

What i do is (in windows), say the Auto value or tRD (aka Performance level) is 9, I'll then try 8 and then 7. If the Pc still seems ok at 7 I might not try any lower, as through experience that could be too low - and end in a freeze. Because i want stability first, followed by performance I'll choose 8 as my final value.

But you'll see just how much affect this setting has on memory throughput. How aggressively you set it is up to you. But i found you can increase a bit of stability when using a very low tRD by increasing tRFC.

Thanks for the info - I'll try that out when I get the new ram - ordered some tonight - hopefully its here before Thanksgiving. G.Skill DDR2 1100 8gb kit, hopefully I see some improvement if not from the speed at least from the additional capacity.
