    Default EP45-UD3P 1200MHz - Memtest86+ Test #7

    Can't seem to get this new board to pass Memtest #7, have ran for hours and can pass every test except seven Anywhere above 550 it fails and post 20-40 errors on test #7 only, tried 555-620 with same results?

    Tried every skew, reference, and voltage (Memory 2.1-2.4, NB 1.4-1.6, etc.) I could think of but still a no go past 550. Even tried with a single DIMM and still doesn't pass, CPU Issue maybe? Just thought it was crazy it passes all the other tests just fine. With all my other combos I've never had a failure on test #7 so I'm sort of lost...

    Anyone have any idea what to try next?

    Here're my current settings, they've been just about everywhere but this seems to be fairly close. Sometimes will pass test #7 but other times get 20-40 errors, all other test pass for hours:

    i think your problem is you using 333 trap .... try 2.00D that is 400 ...

    Just tried that and now test #7 is getting hundreds of errors :(

    I usually use 400 on all my DDR3 stuff but everything I've read said to use 333 only. After trying 400 and reading another post from XS I thought about going the other way. Anyhow dropped the CPU Host Freq down to 480MHz and went to the 2.50A 266 Strap (no 2.00A 266) but still at 1200MHz, now have ran 5 passes on #7 without a single error!

    So with that said wonder why I get errors with the 333 strap? Everything I've read on this board says to run it at 333Mhz Only with the 1:1 but obviously that wasn't working very well for me....

    WOW, I can tell the OP likely hangs out at XS as well, but then again maybe not as he would have been warned of a few things

    Are you on Ln2? Even if you are you are killing your CPU with Vtt, if you have not already!

But you did need ram help only so you can ignore my CPU Suggestions if you like (I have not ran 600 FSB, so I dunno what is needed, I do know Vtt is going to kill your CPU Very fast at that amount though)
