    Default Help to set memory to 1066 on GA-P45-UD3P


    Hi, my name is Lucas and i`m trying to set my memory from OCZ to run at 1066 (stock speed). But until now i got errors on memtest86+ (version 2.10) with all settings i have used on bios. The sticks are in dual channel (socket 1 and 3) and now are running at 800Mhz 5-5-5-15 2t without problems.

    So, this is my specs:
    Processor: E8500 3.16Ghz
    Motherboard: GA-P45-UD3P- Bios F5
    Memory: OCZ 1066Mhz 2x1GB (model OCZ2RPR10662GK)
    Video: ATI HD3650
    PSU: Cooler Master Real Power 520 Watts
    Hard Disk: Seagate 7200.11 500GB

    your trfc little low ... try 52-60 ... try to up cpu termination a little .. also your MCH don't use default .. should be up a hair .. 1.2 -1.3

    I would also advise you put this in Auto >>
    MCH/DRAM Ref.…..... 0.900V...........: 1.010

    I do see this mentioned about your ram/board and Dual Channel (Likely BIOS related, try older or newer if your CPU allows it) >>

    I would also test stock and less then stock MCH. As well as setting all your memory timings manually loose and then lower them. Auto may be putting on too tight.

    Hi, Lsdmeasap, thanks for your reply. And i have good news. It`s working now. About the incompatibility i know. I have a topic on OCZ forum and many users have this issue.

    I just have one question about the modifications i made. Before i used 800mhz and i had one time on super pi, and now with 1066 i have one time lower than before.

    Which settings can i change to get better performance.

    Incompatibility? Where did I say that? Or did you mean the dual channel issue with the BIOS revisions?

    Great to hear you got it working now, is this in dual channel? If not, that may by why your SuperPi score is less
