    1 & 3 or 2 & 4 slot = dual chanel ... anyother combination is not dual ... wouln't able to get the full speed of your ram... read the instruction book that come with mother board

    You need to use slots 1+3 or 2+4 for dual channel as said above, but since you have 8GB you have all slots full right?
