    Default 790 heatsink

Hi, where could i get my hands on a 790GX or 790FX heatsink arrangement? I'm running a 790X board and although the holes are there in the mobo it doesn't come with the same vrm heatsink as the other higher end boards do in the range. I'm going to be running a 3.GHz Deneb when available and so would prefer to have that heatsink in place. I've already replaced the Northbridge heatsink with a better solution for cooling which is a noctua heatpipe (passive).
Thanks for any help in advance..:)

You can get non stock 790 VRM/Mosfet heatsinks in one piece like this >>>
    Petra's Tech Shop

Or get some of these >>>
    Petra's Tech Shop

Many thermalright types here, just to give you non stock ideas >>>

I do know of many others similar, if you would like me to point those out let me know

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply.
I eventually settled on this arrangement:

    Once again, thanks....

Apparently i'm late but this would be useful for future reference...

While in search for a Mosfet Waterblock for that Board, I measured the mounting holes spacing :

Τhese are the measured ones...it seems that i'm some 0.1mm off or something because i used the template from Watercool.de for the Sw-3b Mosfet W/block and it seems to fit.

Since, according to the compatibility list (pdf), the Sw-3b fits the GA-MA790FX-DS5, GA-965P-DQ6, GA-965P-DS3P & GA-965P-DS4, i guess they have the same spacing for this area...

So it seems that the Enzotech is wrong spec'd (both Enzotech's website & petrastech shop) as to fit this board and all the above, as you can see know...

Apart from that, its seems that the HR-09U Type 2 heatsink from Thermalright could fit, but maybe leaving a few mm's (1-2mm) from the mosfet's out of contact...maybe not a disaster, but for someone wanting to be precise that could be a problem...

So, that's my info for this board's mosfet area...Hope someone finds it helpful and stays out of any mess...
