Default New Build with GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R

    First Time Builder

This build is going to used for gaming.I have tried to do my homework and stay on budget of 1200 to 1300 dollars.I really like this board so I'm building my rig around this model.

I want to be able to play a diversity of older and newer games.I will be using a performance edition of xp pro.I want to add 4 gigs of ram even though I can only use about 3.2 gigs.Secondly,I need some good ram the will run good with this board.I'm not that anal about playing the newest games on max settings, but it would be nice.I need a good HDD(32mb cache)Ram,and a video card.My budget for a video card is about 200 dollars.I will leave the the HDD and ram on a open budget for the moment.

Here is my build list so far.I bought a 900 Antec Already, but I could not pass up the Antec1200

    I plan on building number 2,using the 900 I bought for a general pc.Mostly for downloading,encoding,and multi-media purposes.

Looks like a good build to me, maybe a larger heatsink if your funds can allow it after you choose your ram and HDD

I can say these Seagates are awesome in RAID and are pretty cheap. Not 32MB Cache, but very fast in RAID >>>
