    Default Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R, bootup issues/looping

Hi this is a new system build 24hr old.

    Spec:
620W Corsair HX Series Modular SLi PSU

    Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

Intel Core 2 Duo, E8400, Wolfdale Core, S775, 3.0 GHz

    x2 2GB (2x1GB) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator, PC2-8500 (1066), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5 75.56 Inc VAT

640GB Western Digital WD6401AALS Caviar Black,

    896MB BFG GTX260 OC MAXCORE, PCI-E 2.0(x16), Mem 1998MHz, GPU 590MHz, 216 Cores.

OH NO! put everything together but now I am having problems booting up, when I power on; fans kick in, one "beeep" It wont actually start up, it just turns on for about 2 seconds then shuts down, then attempts to turn on again only to shut down after 2 seconds once again. It just keeps looping like that until i turn off the power supply. Nothing on the screen at this stage.

I have tryed with one sitck of ram same thing, no ram beep beeep beeep beep nothing on screen powers off. I have also disconeted everything else to see if that was causing anything but same problem.

The weird thing is yesterday it done the same thing but after so long it worked I was able to format hd and install xp :S

    Please help :)

Can you get in the BIOS now? Did you already set your ram voltage, put performance enhance on standard and add some MCH Volts... or not?

Do you have any other ram to test with? If so, please try one other stick of ram.

If not, please see Post #2 here for how I suggest to clear your CMOS >>
