    Default GA-EX58-UD5 problem with OCZ 6GB 1333mhz

    I have the GA-EX58-UD5 with

    OCZ Gold Low-Voltage DIMM Kit 6GB PC3-10667U CL9-9-9-20

    OCZ3G1333LV6GK

This Kit dont run on my UD5, if i place a Corsair 1866mhz Modul in DDR3_3 Slot the Motherboard boot . The 1600mhz 6GB OCZ Tripple Channel Kit runs perfect ( i know it from my friend ) .

    20*190*8, DDR3 @ 1520mhz, Uncore 16

Dualchannel with OCZ = no boot
Tripplechannel with OCZ = no boot

Dualchannel with OCZ + Corsair = boot and stable
TrippleChannel with OCZ + Corsair = boot and stable

    20*190*6, DDR3 @ 1140mhz, Uncore 12

Dualchannel with OCZ = no boot
Tripplechannel with OCZ = no boot

Dualchannel with OCZ + Corsair = boot and stable
TrippleChannel with OCZ + Corsair = boot and stable

You see, its the same **** . The Tripple Channel Kit from OCZ runs on my friends Asus P6T perfect !

Also my Board dont boot with stock Settings ( all 3Slot with OCZ, 1Slot with Corsair Modul = boot ) !!!!

Pls Gigabyte, fix this with the next Bios .

I read on other forums that the subtimings are an issue with early BIOS's and X58's.
One of the solutions is: Set the tRFC Setting to 74.

I've heard this for the Patriot Ram (I am running) and a couple of other brands.
    I'd give it a try ^^.

Only this is stable for 4GB ... lol

    3 x OCZ Moduls .... forget it ...

2 x OCZ and 1x Corsair Modul in the middle >>> boot and stable

    2 x OCZ in DDR3_1 and DDD3_3 ( Dual Channel ) >>> no boot

All 3 OCZ Moduls works fine .

I have the same exact problem with my gigabyte ud-5 and ocz 3x2gb modules. So the only way to get it to boot is to provide a corsair module?
There is no way to get 3 ocz modules to boot, if say you change the settings on the bios for timings/voltage on the ram?

Yes or one Modul in DDR3_1 and DDR3_5 .

Its a Bios problem from Gigabyte . In Germany a lot of user have a problem with this modules !

I hope its fixed with the next bios, if not, i buy a Asus P6T because because on this Board den Modules runs perfect .
