    Default EP45-DS4P OCZ 1066 problems

    I have had no luck getting my rig to boot with RAM at 1066 any help would be appreciated Here's my config:
    GA-eP45-DS4P (F8 Bios)
    Core2Duo E8500
    2x2GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Platinum (Dual Channel Kit)
    ASUS 9800GT 512
    Windows Vista Ultimate x64

    I am currently running my ram at 800Mhz but would love to run at 1066Mhz
    I can run 1x2GB at 1066Mhz and had to use orange slots to get in to bios with 2X2GB

    I have a very similar setup, E8400 + UD3P +OCZ 1066 platinum 2x2GB and MSI 9800GT:

    Mine is being a PITA also but I'm new to intel OC'ing so some may be just that?


    Any way since the board defaults to 1.8v dram V, only 1 of my sticks will boot at that. So I put that in the 1st Yellow slot.

    Then go into bios and set to 2.1v and PL10 or 8 if it will work.

    I cannot get mine to run at 800mhz, lol And it only wants to run at 1066 when the FSB is 333 or 400, after that its no good.

    If you did not, please link me to your ram and fill this out with ALL your settings (You left out some key settings/voltages, so not sure what to advise without seeing it all) and I will advise >>>

    So far my OCZ likes 2.06v Dram and you need to raise the MCH to prob 1.28-1.32. Also set PL(tread) to 8 or higher

    Ok Lsdmeasap getting a bit better now I can get to windows login but blue screens when I logon wouldn't event think about loading windows before..
