    Default Please Help! Newbie Question...

    Why I can't overclock to 3.6 Ghz? It restarted after 9 minutes in orthos.
    Please advice. Thanks in advance.

    Try to change this:

    Standard Timing Control
    CAS Latency Time........................5
    tRCD .........................................5
    tRP'...........................................5
    tRAS..........................................15

    Use all highest values below until you get your CPU where you want it and stable, then slowly lower these one at a time testing as you go

    Advanced Timing Control
    -start with higher value
    tRRD...........................................3-5
    tWTR..........................................3-6
    tWR............................................4-8
    tRFC...........................................52-62
    tRTP...........................................3-5
    Command Rate (CMD) ....................:2

    Driving Strength Profiles
    Driving Strength ............................ 800

    I would also advise a bit more Vtt (Termination), and to use 401 instead of 400 exactly

    What's wrong with these? I tried these last night.

    It stabled in orthos for 15 minutes. Then I stoped and changed tRRD to 4.
    It restarted after 10 minutes in orthos.

    So I've try 401 and VTT from 1.26, 1.28 to 1.30, it cannot boot into windows.
    I've change back to 'stasio' bios settings, it cannot boot into windows too.

    Only optimized defaults can come to post this reply.

    This's stabled in orthos more than 10 minutes.

    I'm lost. Where should I start to overclock this CPU?
    Maybe I run orthos with this settings for atlease 8 hours to check the stability?

    Test your ram one by one at stock to be sure you do not have faulty ram modules
