    Oh ok.. i may as well do it just in case..

    Thank you for your assistance thou.. much appreciated..

    Hmmm maybe i can wind my CPU back up to 4gHz..

    WE had it running Somewhat stable at those speeds just the memory was crashing (i beleive)

    Those higher figures in the timing etc.. shall i bring those back at all?

    Any reccomendations on overclocking..?

    Ya, just loosen up your ram and get back up to 4Ghz, then work on tweaking your ram

    To run USB Memtest you will need to download the files from the BIOS guide for creating a Bootable USB Stick >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/

    Then you need this Memtest file >>
    http://www.memtest.org/download/2.11...+-2.11.exe.zip

    Once you create your bootable floppy just copy the memtest file onto it and boot from floppy and run the name of the file at the dos prompt (mt211.exe).

    Be sure you do ONLY as the Guide says when creating the Bootable USB, do not copy over files or anything you think is missing as it will mess things up. You can see my testing/findings here about trying that. (Starting in Post #14) >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/ep45...59/index2.html

    To boot from USB you need to have Legacy USB Storage Detect Enabled in the Integrated Peripherals BIOS Page. Then Leave your USB Stick plugged in and reboot and then press F12 at startup to get to the Boot menu. Then press Hard Drive+ and on the next screen you will be able to choose your USB Stick by name and Win98 Will bootup and you will be at the DOS Screen

    Sure I can help you with overclocking, do you need it? Have you looked at any other posts here? Tons of info. If you do need help, let me know what you want to run. I thought you had 4Ghz before, sounds like you can do it without my help right? I can advise you for sure, not trying to not help here, just wonder why you asked as you had already overclocked to 4Ghz in the past

    It says that your memory is at 533 mhz...double that and you have the magical 1066....the timings may need tweaking tho.....i would have thought they would be 5-5-5-15....check the box it came in to see

    ooops to late...sry...you all ready know :)

    Im not getting another one as i cant afford any more downtime..

    Im sure people have had better experiences.. so im not going to say anything bad but i havent had the best experience with gigabyte to date..

    did you check your mainboard temperatures?
    seeing your picture with the 5xHDD backplane i thought that might warm up the case quite a bit;
    then the added voltages and the slight oc on top;
