    Default Gigabyte Ep45 uD3p with q9550

There is a so called Main ATX power and another one called ATX_12V_2X4. Do I need to put a power supply on the Main Power ATX as well as the 'ATX_12V_2X4'. Please advise. Thanks and appreciate. What BIOS settings do I need to set up with a GSkill DDR2 1066 memory to get at least a 3.2GHZ with this Intel Q9550?

yes you need both .. the 12v is for videocard .. since you have dual video slot ... so you need the 8 pin ... single only have 4 pin

but I am only using 1 video card instead of dual cards.... not a gamer. Do I still need to put the other exectrical cable then into the ATX_12V_2X4? Why?.... as I had screwed in all the mobo and the cooler fan is blocking the ATX 12V... I guess I would have to remove those screws and put it in....
