    Default Tryhing to OC a GA-EP45-DQ6 Board

    Recent build with GA-EP45-DQ6 Bios 12. E8600. TRUE (Lapped). Corsair TWIN 2X2GB DDR2 1066 (PC 8500), Corsair HX-1000, Anatec 1200, ASUS EAH 4870 1GB DK, Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Having difficulty with trying to OC to around 4. Stock settings except for STD Performance, DRAM 5-5-5-15 2T @ 2.1v. Would like to OC to a stabel 4+. Now I have trouble understanding how to use the (G) MCH Freqquency Latch and Sysem Memory Multiplier settings. Please help. Thanks.

    The best way I found is to take the orginal FSB of your mobo and CPU, I think in this case the max both can do together is 1333 which means you should set MCH latch at 333 and then adjust the ratio so it comes up to as high a value as your RAM allows without going over it or only just over. I use the similar products and have set MCH at 333 and ratio at 2.4B, this will give you ability to raise FSB to 400+ raising you CPU clk to well over 4G

    Please also set your Vtt (Termination) and PLL Voltages yourself using AUTO will Kill your CPU

    If you need more help please link your ram and fill this in with what you are using so far and I will advise >>>
