Default Interested in using Easy Tune 5 Pro for overclocking

Hi! I have the following CPu specifications and I would like to use Easy Tune 5 Pro which comes with my motherboard:

    Intel e8400 3.0Ghz Proc
    Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Motherboard
    2 x 2GB DDR2 800 Kingston Memory
    Palit ATi Radeon 4870 GPU
    500W HEC Powersupply

Is it safe to overclock using Easy Tune 5 to crank my e8400 to 3.6Ghz using standard Intel processor cooler? Please advise. I also need to know if I need to use Easy tune 6 for my e8400. Any answer would be appreciated.

It's better if you do it manually in your BIOS and do it gradually as well.

You say crank up like you want to just set it to 3.6 one time.

    That's a no no.
