    Your tRAS value is wrong - probably a typo?

    You will need a 400 FSB to run 1600 ram speeds. So you are going to have to overclock, have you read anything about doing that?

    ive read a couple of thing here and there...but the thing is i dont know exactly what the specs mean... like i read through your Memory Timings Explained W/ Suggested Timings & Memset VS. BIOS thread.... but i just dont understand what it means...for example...
    CAS (tCL) Timing: CAS stands for Column Address Strobe or Column Address Select. It controls the amount of time in cycles between sending a reading command and the time to act on it. From the beginning of the CAS to the end of the CAS is the latency. The lower the time of these in cycles, the higher the memory performance.
    e.g.: 4-4-4-12 The bold “4” is the CAS timing.
    ... after reading...i think to myself..HUH? but this is what i do understand... my CPU Host Frequency(MHz) is set to 333 with a System Memory Multiplier of 4.00D..hence the Memory Frequency (MHz) of 1333... so if i set it to 400 with the 4.00D i would get my 1600 that im looking for..but also in doin that the CPU Clock Ratio (9x) would give me a CPU Frequency of 3.6GHz (400x9) so then i would change it to CPU Clock Ratio 7x and the Fine Clock Ratio to +0.5 giving me the CPU Frequency of 3.0GHz (400x7.5)..that i understand...but thats about it..i can do the math...but i dont understand what it means... more importantly what and why i need to set the voltages to a certain spec.. like what number to start from...whats too low and what would be overkill....so yeah...i understand i need to overclock...thats why i am seeking your help and knowledge...so that when im done O.C.'ing my computer...i understand how and why i set numbers(and what those numbers mean).

    Yes, you have it correct, you can do it with any CPU multiplier and then 400 CPU Host frequency (FSB)

    Please give me your full settings you are using now and I will advise you on how to go about using 400 FSB. Please also link to your ram and let me know how much you have if you did not on page one. Thanks>>>

    here is the link to my ram (4GB (2 x 2GB))...using 32 bit xp pro sp2...windows reading 3.25 GB of ram...bios running ram at 1333 MHz... FRYS.com*|*PATRIOT ...here is the template of current settings... also note the parts that i have highlighted in red..they do not apply as i do not have those options in my bios...

    Which did you try? You mean the second template at 400Mhz?

    If it's still ok at 1333Mhz (333) First Template, then try the settings of the second template (1600Mhz - 400), but reduce the Cpu Host Frequency to 375Mhz - That will run your Ram at 1500Mhz (if it works)

    But i did say to you before numerous times on this thread that it's not Easy getting DDR3 to these high frequencies on some boards/memory combinations.
