    Well I'm back from my weekly route so Iv'e got my EO up to 4.0ghz and starting to test.I'll post back with some results.Lots of great help in this forum.

    I don't doubt that, Quads get tricky at high FSB. What % MCH Ref are you using, and have you messed with CPU ref's yet?

    Other than volts and timings I haven't done much.I tried running the settings others have in the forums but not much luck so far.I left Prime95 running while I was on my weekly route. At 450x8.5 1.2v two of the cores crapped out after 2 hours and the other 2 cores ran for 85 hours lol.

    Hi Prospector,

    Here are the settings I'm using on a UD3R to run my Q9950 E0 at 4.038 GHz (475x8.5). The key seemed to be keeping the CPU and MCH reference voltages at about 67%. By this I mean at a CPU termination voltage and MCH voltage of 1.30 volts, I set the reference voltage to 0.863, which is about 67% of 1.30 (0.863/1.3= 0.664). I also set every voltage manually. Hope this helps your quest for 4 GHz.

    Thanks I'll give them a try. Also since I went from f4 to f7a bios my core temps seem better and less variation between cores.
