    Default Is there a GA-EP45-UD3P Rev. 1.1?

    Hi,
I'll probably be buying a GA-EP45-UD3P or GA-EP45-UD3R and was wondering about revision numbers. I read on here that the UD3R is up to Rev. 1.1, but I was wondering if that's the case for the UD3P?

Do any of the online places tell you what Rev. # your getting? It's probably not a big deal, but I'd like to get the newest revision, if possible.

I know when I bought my Q6600, Zip Zoom Fly and Ewiz couldn't tell me if I'd be getting the SLACR with G0 stepping, so I bought it from Amazon since they stated that info.

    Thanks, JD...

So far I have not seen any 1.1 rev P's, only the R's.

I'm not sure what is different either

I'm not sure of the difference either on the UD3R rev 1.1 other than the heat sink being a little different. I looked on the Gigabyte site, but they still have both the P & R listed as rev 1.0.

    Thanks for the reply. JD...

Yes, there is Rev 1.1 on the UD3 models now. Here is a Thread about it >>>

Ahh sorry that is the UD3R, I do not see any Rev 1.1 anywhere for UD3P

Thanks for the info and I guess it's hard to beat "P" perfect. :) Though I do have a GA-EP35-DS3"P" that is rev. 2.1.

Does the rebates on these motherboards, usually mean soon to be discontinued?

    Best Regards, JD...

Thanks everyone for the info. I do have a GA-EP35-DS3P that I plan to do a build with first and I'll probably get the GA-EP45-UD3P for another build.

    Thanks, JD...
