    Exclamation EP45-UD3P and Q6600 Overclock Help (stable at 3.2 Ghz)

    Hello everyone,

    I am new to posting but I am by no means new to this board. I have been reading and lurking around for quite some time now. I currently have my system stable at 3.264 Ghz with the below settings and wish to get it to 3.6 Ghz. I have tried many different settings and voltages but have not had any luck with getting it stable @3.6. As I've mentioned the settings below are rock solid for 3.26 - I run SMP Foldings on 2 Ubuntu Virtual Machines 24/7 and have never crashed w/ 100% CPU usage w/ 8GBs of DDR2.

    Any Suggested Settings For 3.6Ghz would be greatly appreciated :)

    Problem resolved or not? Or did you just have problems with the adds?

    Well 8GB is going to limit your overclock for sure, and depending on your cooler you may not be able to get 3.6 out of that quad.

    With no specs posted it is kinda hard to offer the best advice? I do see several things that are holding you back though, Auto everything being one of them for sure

    FYI -
    I am doing the same folding thing and less than 1MB of memory is being used.
    I have 1x2MB installed.
    So you may be able to drop your memory to increase your overclock.
    keep on folding.
