Well my pc actually runs very good at 1600mhz 777-20 But I would really like to get the memory up higher in hopes of higher performance. Manufacturer claims board can handle 2000mhz memory.

I also tried memset 3.6 and it also says that my memory is at 800mhz 999-24

Memset has been updated to 4.0, see the ram sticky for a link.

Here is where you need to look in CPU-z and Memset to see your actual Ram speed, I think you are looking at the SPD information not the actual speed >>>

If you want to push your ram you are going to need to use higher then 777-20 Main timings for sure. Also just because the board will do 2000+ Ram speed, does not by any means mean that your ram will

I've actually been using Cpu-z for quite a long time. But I can understand that this is so weird that you thought I was looking in the wrong place. As far as Memset I just recently found out about it. I was actually able to set memory to 1700mhz and FSB to 425 and Pc booted up fine. I went to Cpu-Z and it said memory was at 800mhz and FSB was at 400mhz and Cpu voltage was at 1.36v. I then shut down pc and went into Bios and it said on there that memory was set to 1700mhz and FSB to 425mhz. Even the windows Vista Welcome Center Claimed Cpu was at 3.2ghz instead of 3.4ghz.

Are you using the latest CPU-z? I ask because 800Mhz x2 would be 1600MHz not 1700, or was that the point you was making as well?

As for Vista, it has a mind of it's own when it comes to what it thinks your CPU is at sometimes so that can be ignored for sure

Yes that is the point I was trying to make. And it is the latest CPU-Z.

I can suggest you to increase the voltage to +0.45. If your ram website claims it can go up to 2000mhz, then you definitely need more than +.30 voltage to ram modules.
