Can someone tell me, if a PSU has only 4pin CPU power connector, does it really matter for this motherboard? I am going to take that one - Sea Sonic Electronics S12II-430(SS-430GB).

I've used Thermaltake ToughPower 700W PSU, it takes no effect.

I don't believe the CPU will work if you don't give it enough power, so I doubt that using a 4-pin power connector on one that wants an 8-pin (like the UD3R) will be sufficient. DS3L would be an example of one that doesn't need an 8-pin.

if DS3L has 4-pin cpu power connector and supports E8500, than 4-pin is sufficient for this processor.

New mb has revision 1.1 and works perfect, giving 550 fsb without any problems, allows low cpu voltage during OC. One thing - than DES is enabled, music plays with lags, no matter what audio card i use - internal or external. This is really bad.

Mine basically doing the same thing except the video card fans turns while the LED's are flashing, the cpu fans turns very little, the LED's go off and then it cycles again. Everything is new and I don't have other ram or a differentt CPU.
