Well it only works on some boards/BIOS's so if I were to make that suggestion in a Guide form then it will throw 100's of users way off base.

As for your settings, they look good and of course that should be stable provided voltages are good at Auto which they should be at stock

Now you can start lowering things. Start with static tRead first, then once that will not boot raise it back up one (Here is where higher MCH Would help as if you cannot boot 6-7 then you need more MCH). Then after that I would suggest you start setting all the rest of the timings at higher suggested settings then lower one by one testing as you go
