Thread: Recommneded memory for GA-EP45-UD3R

  1. #1

Default Can anyone Recommend memory for GA-EP45-UD3R

Can anyone tell me what memory I can use in the GA-EP45-UD3R. I downloaded the PDF from Gigabyte themselves, but I have been having a very difficult time finding any of these online to purchase. Not sure if its just an old list or what, but all the model numbers I searched didn't come up for an online retailers.

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/...-ep45-ud3r.pdf

Obviously other memory modules work with this motherboard, that are not on the PDF. Can I get some recommendations for 2 X 2GB of Ram that people have had success with for this board. Would like recommendations for both DDR2 800 & DDR2 1066

    Thanks

Mushkin, Crucial, G.Skill all work fine in my tests

I have not personally tested any others, but I do know many work just fine.

So, If you have a specific Brand you like link me to what you are thinking and I will let you know if there are any known issues

First of Thanks for the reply and assistance.

It seems that memory has gotten kind of specialized these days. I just want to make sure the brand and more specifically the make/model will work. Every company makes a lot of different models for certain needs. I use newegg (hope thats allowed) for most of my purcahses, and I know they carry the brands listed above. But there are so many variations, I just want to know what I purchase will work, since I am not in the boat currently.

Not looking to overclock, looking for stability.

OK Currently looking at these and not really interesting in overclocking.
