    Default Help with system lockup

    Hi, I stumbled on this site trying to get some questions answered and hopefully you guys can help. I have a EP45-ds3l board with ballistix memory and have all but narrowed down my problems to the memory according to Gigabyte. He said i need to bump up my voltage by .3 or .4 in the bios but I only see where i can select from a list of voltages in my bios. I set it to 2.0 according to what the crucial guy told me and maybe someone can check to see if It is all set correctly.Here is my readout from cpu-z

    Yeap, you should use 2.0V. You should also set performance enhance on standard instead of turbo

    If you need some more help, let me know I would be glad to help you with your settings.

    So you know, unless your memory is damaged that ram works fine in your board as I have a set of 4 of those Crucial sent me that I am reviewing right now. Will do 1200Mhz with 4x1 sticks, so it is for sure compatible

    If you do need some help, please fill this in with what you are using, and post what CPU you have and I will advise back >>>

    Thanks a ton for the help, computer is running stable now ,no crashes since I changed some of those settings. Now I have to work on keeping my video card from crashing with warcraft :(

    Nice to hear you are getting more stable results now!

    Post back if you have anymore issues or need some help with fine tuning once you have tweaked/tested for a bit
