Ok the CPU is a G0, with a good cooler you can expect about 3.8Ghz there as a maximum 24/7 setting. But telling us your settings and the temps you get when running Prime/Orthos or whatever as well as what cooler you're using would allow me to tell you more.

Well you run a program like Prime 95 to put the CPU under full load. The program checks whether there are any errors and if there are none the system is probably stable. There is no testing program that really guarantees a stable operation. I like to use Prime 95 for a few hours and then run a few 3DMark rounds.

Why don't you just write down all your hardware, including PSU and CPU cooler? And run Prime 95 while doing that!

Well, I use RealTemp myself but you could also use CoreTemp or Everest. You can get all of those here >>>

If you use RealTemp, be sure you Calibrate it >>>
