    Default Lsd ? Gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3r

    Got a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R coming with a
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache &
    http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/memory_detail.asp?id=663 Ram

    I have 2 1TB WD hard drives and want to load Vista 32b & Windows 7 beta? Any sugestions? Do I run Raid? Also Memory Timings. Dave.

    RAID is up to you, if you do run it do so from the Intel Controller. I am not sure how RAID would be on 2 disks that large, may not be as good as you would expect as they have multiple platters

    As for timings and such, I need to know if you are overclocking but here is in general for that setup at stock >>>

    Ahh ok. Well here this would be optimal for 2.8, CPU voltage of course will be up to your board (Board vdrop/vdroop also) and chip and cooling so what I put will just be a general starting point

    Well that depends on what CPU stepping it is (check CPU-z), what you're trying to do with it, and whether you're comfotable with giving it more VCore.

    We can't read minds so we can't tell you whether to go for more...

    Posting ALL your hadware would be a good place to start for example, then telling us the load temp may actually get us too tell you whether you should go for more.
