    I can boot this then in ET6 change FSB to 465 and be completely stable. If I up fsb to 434 in the bios with these same settings it will not boot, bootloop.

    Ok I got the 9200s in and they have no problem with the 2.40B strap. I guess this board just doesnt like my 8500s. Thanks for your help.

    Ahh so you all good now then? Ya some Memory will just not work on the B strap above 400 FSB, Others will work just fine

    Well theres still a problem with it but it shouldnt really affect me right now. 484*9 at 2.40B with mch up to 1.36 boots up fine, but with 1.38+ it will bootloop like the 8500s did at 434+ with 1.22+. Its weird how those settings/voltages can be prefectly stable when set in windows but not be able to be booted when preset in the bios. Ill play with it some more when I get home tonight.

    Did you try Less MCH Voltage at those settings?

    What % MCH Ref are you using, this could be the issue? Try out .70-.745 and see how that works for ya. See the link in my signature if you are unsure of how to set that, because you do not just set it, it has to be set with Vtt. So please do check out the link if you are unsure of how that works

    I know the mch reference tracks the vtt voltage and I usually try to keep the mch reference at around the ~67% area, usually gives me the best stability. If I have vtt and mch the same I use the .800 setting. With mch at 1.38 and vtt at 1.36 and 1.38 I have tied using .720 to .840 with no luck. Im still testing to find the lowest stable mch with this new ram but its looking like 1.32 at the moment.

    When my 9200s are in the yellow memory slots the most mch they will boot is 1.36 but when there installed in the red slots they will boot up to 1.40mch. I then reinstalled my 8500s but in the red slots this time and now they have no problem booting over 434fsb but with up to 1.32mch, 1.34+ with bootloop still. As far as I know the yellows are supposed to be the primaries but would there be a good reason to not use the red slots instead? Also this is probably not related but I have noticed that 1.32 vtt seems to not be able to be set. If I preset 1.32 vtt in the bios then check it in windows with ET6 it shows 1.30. I can then bump it to 1.32 with ET6 then close and reopen it and it still will pull up 1.30 vtt.

    Hmm, that looks to be very nigh Vtt you mentioned. Are you using more Vtt then vcore, this is a issue if you are. Either way I think 1.36-1.38 is alot for your 430-460 FSB. 1.28-.132 should get you past 533 FSB no matte the vcore amount.

    So maybe this high Vtt is what it throwing you off, no matter the MCH Ref amount set this high of a Vtt will make that actual applied voltage be a bit much for all said items

    Sounds like you may have buggy BIOS with your 1.32 Vtt comment. Do you have a older favorite? Maybe try a newer beta if you are not already? Or switch to a older beta or older final BIOS

    And ya know, the B strap may be the whole issue at hand here as well. It is making you have to use way to much voltage it looks like

    Same thing here. And i tried bios f4 to f8 and all of them have this error...

    I dont actually need that much vtt, its just an easy way for me to set the mch reference percentage where I want it since it tracks the vtt voltage. For my current 24/7 setup I only 1.28vtt and 1.30mch. I am using the F9a bios right know but the 1.32vtt bug was also there with the F7.
