No they're rated at 800. I've overclocked them upto 900 but haven't tested beyond that. I'm running 4 sticks of them in DC now which I never thought was even possible when I had this issue.

I had no patience to go through whole 10 pages so if you already have, I'm sorry:p BTW if you get beta bios from Gigabyte could you kindly share with us? I wanna have a go at it, if I may.
No I have not. I only have GSkill and Crucial ram sticks. Which Corsairs did you buy?
BTW, I got a beta bios from Janus Yeh and it did not help.

They are 4 x TWIN2X2048-6400C4 sticks. I have another p35 system and these were originally installed there but since I had problem with UD3R + Gskill combo I just swapped these system rams around. Now Gskill running perfectly in my p35 system and Corsair also running strong in my p45 system.

Hmmm, I may have to run to fry's or microcenter and pick some up.

Well if I was you I'd go for TWIN2X4096-6400C5. It's basically the same ram but 2x2GB sticks with slightly looser timing. I'm not 100percent sure but most likely it uses same memory chip so you should be ok. This is the most popular 4GB model they make and widely supported by many mobos. Anyway goodluck.

clo007, did you manage to fix things up? Did you get some help from GBT or Anandtech finally? Post an update, I'm just curious. I hope you're OK by now.

Nope. I am getting some ram that gigaboy has to see if that works. If those don't fix the issue, I am RMAing this board.

I've read through this entire thread and appear to be having the exact same issue as clo007 (expect I'm dealing with a new system build)... all the way down to the reboot cycles.

    - Single stick in 1 works fine, sticks in 1/2 are fine - I get display, post and can access bios.

    - Two sticks in ANY OTHER COMBINATION (I tried them all, with both sticks in each slot), will result in no display and a reboot/restart cycle as described by clo007. I have tried almost everything suggested here with no luck or change whatsoever, and that which I didn't try will not fix this problem.

As I said, this is a new system build, so while there will be more hardware, this is all I've got hooked up at the moment:

    Gigabyte EP45-UD3R (rev1.1 w/ bios F6)
    E8400 3.0GHz (w/ a Rosewill RCX-Z775-EX)
2x2GB sticks G-Skill DDR2-1066 PC2-8500 (Tested in two other boxes)
    eVGA 9500GT
Raidmax Hybrid 2 Rx-730ss (Tried another PSU, no change)
    Antec Nine Hundred

The odd thing, I've got a friend who is running the same board & memory, but an e8500 and a 630w PSU, and he has no issues on 1/3 or 2/4, and is currently running 4x2GB (once again, exact same board & memory, but with an F5 bios). With the exception of the CPU Clock ratio, EVERYTHING else is set to Auto / "canned" throughout his tweak / advanced bios settings. I'm taking the memory over to his place tonight, and am going to try two of his sticks, just to see if anything changes (although I highly doubt it will).

After reading through this entire post, and similar issues on other forums, it certainly seems this is an issue with these boards (or some of them). I don't even know if want to RMA to newegg for a replacement, as it almost sounds pointless and a waste of time. Now I'm thinking it might just be better to flat out get an entirely different board. I'm hesitant though, as I've read such good things about this board and have seen others use it w/o any problems.

I bought a pair of the 5-5-5-18 timing set. They DON'T work.

I think this really is just some defective boards that do this, you probably were very unlucky to get 2 defective boards. I mean there are too many people that run the same RAM/board combination with one guy having problems and the one one not.

There are quite a few people here that have this problem but considering how popular these boards are due to having won many awards it's still quite a low number.

If you RMA it you should get a working board.
