i am having the same problem with two sticks 4gb(2x2) of G.Skill mem as well. wont boot with two in. When it does it will corrupt some files in my windows vista x64. also when i went to run the DYnamic energy saver, after i turned it on the pc locked. Im sure its nothing to due with the same thing. mines not OC,ed and wont be for a while. I would just like to run what i bought for it,

Right now I have both sticks in but in slots 1 and 2, running single channel. As soon as I throw them in 1 and 3 it boot cycles.

tried what you posted. it did not work/help. i basically had the same settings anyways, except my memory was on manual vs auto. switched to auto and still no post with slot 1 and 3.

odd thing is, you and i have almost identical set-ups.

    running EP45-UD3
The figures in my sig are the max i can run it stable overnight on prime 95
    I use 333mhz latch (native)for q8200.
It took me awhile to get stable 500mhz fsb settings ,490mhz was much easier.
memory is the gskill black pi 6400(800mhz)in slots 1 and 3
manual timings set at 5-5-5-15, multiplier 2.00 ,333mhz latch
Everything else is auto except for the voltages.
500mhz and 490mhz run stable on either standard or turbo.
Turbo tightens the memory timings .

Oh the voltages for 490mhz fsb are
    1.3875 cpu
    1.208 memory
    1.36 mch

I get .04 voltage drop on the bios set cpu and memory volt at all times so cpu is not over 1.4 v nor is memory over 2.2v.
Maybe the info will be of some help.
Oh I also have the cia2 or whatever it is turned off and all other eist etc on.
    I dont use easy tune.

the g skill 6400 can clock to 1066 mhz but apparently it wont do it with the 45 chipset.
1015 mhz is the max stable known.

    psu 500w
    hs coolermaster v8
temps dont break 64 on core 0 under load

maybe use 266 latch and 2:00 multiplier?

anyone got g skill black pi 800mhz stable above 1000mhz? and have settings?

I just tried a whole bunch of setting yesterday according to the memory setting guide sticky at the top here.

    Nothing worked.

Even now with only one stick it shuts down after some heavy load.

I would just love for this to work under normal non oc'ed conditions.
