Default EP45-UD3R won't run 2 sticks of ram

OK so I purchased this board about 2 months ago. One day it would not boot and it would only run with 1 stick of ram after cleaning CMOS etc. well, i got sick of it and bought a new one. I installed the new one today, and guess what, it won't run 2 sticks of ram either.
I put in one stick it runs fine. I put in two sticks, it won't even get to bios. I have 5 different sets of ram I have tried all with the same issue, so my ram is not bad.

Any ideas what is going on? Right now the set-up is at stock speeds. All hardware is in sig. Only possible thing i can think of is my PSU is going bad...it is over 2 yrs old. Weird thing is, I can OC my system to 471x8.5 with no issues.

Is there a beta bios that may solve this issue?

You are saying it was running fine for 2 months with two sticks? Did you try all the different slots? When you say "would not boot" where exactly is it stopping?

If so something went bad, it's not a software issue.

Reset the CMOS and then load the optimized defaults, then run memtest 86+ off the CD image, on each stick for a full run each.

It may be the motherbard or power supply dying, but you would have to have another PSU to find out for sure.

i am saying the previous board...rev 1.0 was doing this, so I bought a new one rev 1.1 hoping it would be fixed. With the new board, it does the exact same thing.

    1 stick=work fine
2 stick= power cycle) it does not even get to bios--it powers on, stops, powers on, stops, power on...)

I have done the CMOS reset numerous times. At this point, I am going to buy a new PSU. It is the only thing I can think that would do this, since it is 2 yrs old, maybe it is failing. Funny thing is, I can OC my proc to 4ghz and OC my gfx card with no issues.

There are a few more people over on the xtremesystems forums having the same exact problem as me.

Could someone higher up please look into this issue. I have 2 boards, a rev 1.0 and a rev 1.1, sitting here that neither will run 2 sticks of any size ram.

I have 5 different sets of ram, GSkill and Crucial. They are:

    2x2gig GSkill Pi 8800s
    2x2gig GSkill Black Pi 6400s
    2x1gig GSkill 6400 HZs
    2x1gig Crucial Ballistixs 6400s double-sided

Could be PSU ?, maybe try change muit from 8.5x471 to 8x500 or 9x400 if stable.

Had the same issue when going from Standard Crucial 2x2gb PC6400 to Crucial 2x2gb Ballistix PC6400. This is what I did. Put in what ever memory configuration will boot. Went into bios and loaded optimized defaults, and changed the FSB to 266, save and rebooted. Shut down the machine and popped in the new RAM. Then after it booted I proceeded to tweak the settings, had no problems from there. You could try loading the fail safe defaults and that would allow you to boot with both sticks without messing with the FSB.

It does not matter what the timings or fsb is set at, if I have 2 sticks in motherboard, it won't boot to bios. IF I have one stick, ti fires right up.
