    Default High CPU Termination of E8400 in UD3P

    CPU Termination 1.540v, is it safe? I think it is too high but I try so many time to adjust but it failed or got BSOD.

    Do I have to increse some value that can make it lower? I am really need suggestion.

    I would like to overlock E8400 to 4.00GHz (800x5) with 24/7 system.

    OMFG Dude, Yeah I think that is a bit to high. I really dont think many people would recomment going over 1.4 on these chips. Ummm Set your PCI-Express clock to 101 or 102 mhz because I have read that it makes some sorta difference when you are runny high FSB like 500mhz. Now i dont exactly know what CPU termination is but I dont really think that you want anything to do with CPU Volts that high. But Try the PCIE setting.

    Change

    But when try to lower CPU Termination from 1.540v to .1520v and got BSOD

    CPU Termination= VTT Voltage

    Much to high for an C2Duo. Have you tried 1,1V-1,2V?

    Mostly, the 45nm C2D likes more low VTT Voltages.

    Try also MCH-Core a little higher for FSB 500, like 1,2V.

    I try to set to VTT to 1.2v then it can not start (freeze) without any beep and when I try with 1.4v I can start but got BSOD when start Windows and also increase MCH-Core to 1.2V won't help :(

    Is it true that this mainboard is not match for E0 stepping because in higher FSB it need more vcore and vtt but E0 stepping has lower vcore then it hard to run with stability.

    Can anyone run this mainboard with high FSB > 500 on E0 stepping?

    I see your setting , set mch reference around 0.68-0.70 that shown in ET6 (Auto it'll be 0.76) and you 'll got success with Fsb 500 up:)

    Good for you that has FSB 500+ with E8600 but I am using E8400 :(

    Now you test, if your System boots. Then raise the FSB to 410 and test again. Then 420, 430, 440...500

    Write here the FSB, when the System wont boot.

    @net 1 , I don't mean only E8600 but also E8500 or E8400 need reducing MCH Reference Voltage to around 0.68-0.70 or below this is maybe GOLDEN RULE for this MOBO especially C2D ......
