    Hmm, I can't find any reported issues with that model nor do I remember anyone else having an issue with it.

    So you are sure it works, you never replied about that?

    Let us know how you get along, and yes it is advised to use your CD/DVD Drives on the last two ports (SATA2_4 or SATA2_5)

    Well this DVD drive refused to work in the first 4 ports, but when I tried it in the last two ports it works. It also shows up in the intel BIOS screen as one of the last drives. I will try to attach a screeny of my Device mgr.
    I just used it to install Windows 7 Ultimate build 7100 Wow, Windows 7 ultimate man, this is totally AWESOME. Its a nice change from XP home LOL.

    CD/DVD drives should always be in ports SATA2_4 or SATA2_5, so sounds normal to me.
