Here's a link for you killman on tRead (aka tRD), the article is pretty much a must-read for anyone trying to get the maximum out of his memory:
AnandTech: ASUS ROG Rampage Formula: Why we were wrong about the Intel X48
That page shows possible timing combinations, but also read the rest of the article or at least the non-mainboard specific parts on tRD.

Things are running better now, idle temps are a little high but load temps are a lot better, running at 3Ghz and when I get the temps a little lower I`ll go for 3.2Ghz.

    Thanks for asking

I've read the article, but don't understand everything it's says. Sorry but it's a bit hard you see. First time, learning new things (wich is great!!!) and last but not least it's a differant mobo and chipset.
    So my question is...

Can you help me for the ideal tRD?? Or just help to make a start...

Would be great! appreciate it very much!!

I tried changing the value of tRead from 10 to 9/8. 9 works but 8 wouldn't allow the computer to boot?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

Ya 7 is not going to work on the 400/D Strap/Memory Multi's without some extremes, you will need to use 8/9 or above or adjust your strap to 333/B Strap/Memory Multi's.

Without using extreme voltages these are the normal working ranges >>>
    6/7-10 333/B MCH - 8/9-12 400/D MCH

Of course all other settings, voltages, and Ram quality also are a factor

Can you boot at that FSB using the 2.00B Multi? You likely will have to, and should already, raise your Vtt a bit. Do keep in mind the other advanced Settings left in Auto may be too low and should be manually set
