Hi All i'm quite new to OC as i always worried about shorten lifespan of Processor
after OC.... i'm currently thinking of lapping mine Q6600 and Noctua HS too

    anyway mine specs are:
    Motherboard : EP45 DS4P
    Bios ver. : F8
    Processor: Intel Q6600 2.4Ghz
    Memory : DDR 2 Paired 2Ghz X 2

    Asus Nvidia : EN9600GT 512M
    Driver ver. : 191.07

    Cooling : Noctua NH-U9B
    Windows XP Home SP3

Currently over clocked to 3Ghz ( Core Temp: 37 System Temp. : 48)
    FSB: 333Hz
    CPU Clock Ratio : 9
    PCI Express : 100Mhz

I've discover once booted up to desktop ... The Clock Speed
Drops back to 2Ghz shown on Easy Tuner ???? Should i continue using Easy Tuner ?

Easytune is really only suggested to look at BIOS settings or try small changes for quick tests, any real overclocking should be done in the BIOS.

You do need to disable C1E and EIST in the BIOS so the CPU Stays where you set it.
