No, I'm running a bit short of space for another Vista install. Also, having two 2GB graphics cards will not do wonders for a 32-bit OS' memory limitations.

    XD
They may have "only" cost me 536 for the pair (normally would be 700-750), but I think I'll hang onto them for now... haha

Catalyst 9.2 should be out soon, hopefully that will solve the problem. Knowing ATI though, it probably won't be fixed for FEAR 2 until 9.3.

Yeah Well NVIDIA Have released so many new drivers in the last month You just about need an RSS Feed to keep up with it. And the last 2 have claimed some form of FEAR 2 fix. But ****, By the time I finish Downloading FEAR 2 there will probably be 3 more drivers out. I dont give a shiite about anything other than ArmA: Armed Assault. Im borderline going to Dual Boot with Vista 32 just so I can run it. Sad isnt it.

It is a bit, more that you have to use a different OS to run a recent game (the old Windows 98 ones I can perhaps understand). Still, I'm well aware nvidia offer nothing better in the driver department for Vista64 - it drives me mad when there are so many thread of people raging over 'can't believe how much ATI drivers suck, I'm going back to nvidia, never had any problems'. Still, ATI not having had manual AF since 8.12 is pretty poor (Having said that, where is the mipmap control in forceware?)

Mipmap control is under Manage 3d Settings in ADVANCED. Err well it used to be. Umm not that you mention it it definatly looks a lot thiner in there than it used to. I would have bought an HD4870X2 by now if i hadnt read all the horror stories about Drivers from ATI. Its ok my 8800GT is heating my room fine for now.
