Default EP45-DS3L big pci (not -e) card problem

So I bought this card few weeks ago, flashed the bios up to F10 (latest).
I then installed my pci soundcard, an audigy 1 platinum, with the front panel.

I put it in PCI bus 2 first, as it was at the bottom, somehow more convenient to me.
I installed the kx drivers, rebooted, there the drivers, when trying to load the mixer, told me that the card was not present.
I go to device manager, and I see "this device cannot start" error message for this card.
I tried many things, latest kx version etc, no way.

So I decided to try on the other slot, there it worked (!)
But not for long, yesterday, when I booted up my my pc, I got the same message again.

So either my mobo as a problem (pci only, as it seems other things work perfect), either it could be fixed with an older bios or something...

    Any idea would be welcome.

You need to try switching the IRQs for the sound card and disabling all unnecessary onboard devices (like the normal onboard sound).
An older BIOS may also help since the way IRQs are assigned may change from BIOS to BIOS.
