Ya, game artifacts sounds to me like your GFX Card is overheating. How is the temps on it?

I replaced the graphics card, and that fixed the crashing problem once it is running. But the system still needs 3 to 4 attempts to successfully boot. Each time, it gets a little farther. First, it will hang on the post, then it will hang on the boot sequence, then it hangs with a BSOD halfway through windows starting, and then it boots.

As Nickel Said, when you do get it to boot run Prime 95 for atleast 4 hours and see what happens

I have the same board and memory. Lowering the MCH core to 1.050V worked for me. Can't hurt to try it and I didn't see it in your list.

Ran prime 95, no problem. I think it must be bios settings related, because it is always the same sequence of crashes, from a cold boot. Like it is testing out different auto settings to see what works. I'll have to dig a bit, and i will try the MCH core. Everything is (almost) is load customized defaults, other than Vram at 2.1V

What is your PCI bus set to in MHz? It should be 100.

See this post for stable settings that should work for you:

Any luck yet with this issue? If not, please post for me again your full settings you are using that are causing this issue and I will see if anything looks off to me
