I see, @MacG32. Do you mean v8.1.50.1456 is a firmware, and v9.5.14.1724 is a driver? Sorry, but what's their difference(s), of one over the other? I'm aware of devices using drivers to make them recognized by the OS, & only of bios firmware.

Yup. There's a spot in your BIOS for the firmware update and the driver for your OS.

Looks something like this when you're all finished.

Thanks @MacG32. I was able to run update before, but now when I run meinfo64 now I get the error message: "Cannot locate hardware platform identification.... Error 9460: Unknown or unsupported hardware platform." Would you know what could be causing this? Though I was able to install MEI_9.5.14.1724.

Not running the command prompt as admin? Having .exe at the end of the meinfo64?

I did run the info.bat, and the update.bat as well, both showed the same error.

Running a previous version though came up with the info:

Wrong series of motherboard for the firmware...lol Whooops Sorry about that.

Your firmware version is 9.0.3.1347 H.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by 'wrong series', not for the Z87X? The driver seemed to work, so this should be fine? While since the firmware didn't because it's for a different set?

Yes. The driver is the latest. Correct.

The firmware you need starts with 9.x

    Currently the latest is ME_9.0.20.1447.zip
