    Hi outer,

    I am proud user of your 3.6 OC stock voltage

    and follow exactly you Sample Bios.

    I run the One hour test OCCT It passed
    Highest temp went up to 41c

    I try to play Games Like Mirrors edge and left for Dead
    just 3 minutes in the Game The game crash and go back to Vista

    I try to Run Intel Burn Test... After selecting 5 pass at high
    It hangs...
    Can you tell me the Steps to follow to get it stable in the games...

    a quick update....

    I also run prime 95 for 2 hours ajust witness a Blue Screen
    back to Windows...
    clearly some more tweaking to do.....

    Can you post you full settings for us just so we can be sure we haven't missed anything? At any rate, I would try adding a little more Vcore voltage to see if the problem goes away. I am thinking 1.28750V for the voltage. If problem goes away, you can leave voltage where it is, or you can try reducing one step at a time.

    I just have give it a try at 1.28750V
    and play same the game who let me down
    again just as before the game crash....

    back to earlier setup yesterday i run a orthos overnight
    it was ok for 2 hours but this morning horror window crashed

    I am now running Intel burn test....Temps are at 55c
    must go to work..... will check on the afternoon (local time...)

    OK, Vcore not the issue. You can put it back where it was at stock. The actual issue is the memory timings.

    tRRD and tRTP are too low at 3. They need to come up to 4 as shown above. In fact, even 4 is agressive (although I got it to work). If you still can't get it to work with 4-4-6-54-4-2 you can try 5-5-6-54-4-2 which also worked for me.

    woops! Just notcied another thing... set DRAM voltage to 2.100V for your Dominators. I used 2.00V, but that is for Gskill RAM. Very important to set memory voltage for Dominators!

    Hey there Outer Marker! I got in that GSkill 1066mhz (4GB) today and took out the 800mhz. I then went into the bios (ver F8), and used your template (verbatim) for the 3.83 OC. I booted the first and is running preety good so far! I ran the OCCT test at max settings for an hour and it never got above 58 deg C. Then I ran the Intel Linpack32 test 5 times and saw a max temp of 69 deg C for about 1 second. Man that Intel Linpack32 test hits the cpu hard! Anywho, just wanted to let you know that it's working, thanks for the template man!


    ps... My memory is running in "single channel" mode. I have 2 sticks of 2GB each, how do I change it to run "dual channel"? The ram is in slot "1" and slot "2". I didn't see anything in the motherboard manual about using any particular slots.

    Hey there. To run in dual channel mode, you have to use slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. They should be color coded on the motherboard, so the basic idea is that they have to both be in the same color slot. Do that and you should be golden. Glad to hear it's working well for you!
