    Dont update your graphics driver from Pallit. Download directly from Nvidia or AMD.

    When downloaded the driver, check what the idle tempreature is.

    Also, dont forget to update direct x

    I have just Updated the ATI driver for The Palit 4870 to the Latest
    and Check on the web It look like many peoples Have the same Problem
    it crash short after......
    I Am Now Going back to 3.6 using my previous Set up......

    What Would be the Best Test I could make after The Changes
    to fine tune If needed....as this Game left 4 dead Is Not working well.

    The Game still crash in Stock after updating to the latest driver from Palit 4870....

    so I give up on this Game and need to concentrate On the Stability of the System....

    Hi Dodgexander,

    Sorry did not read well you comment not do download from Palit
    Download directly from Nvidia or AMD

    it look like i find the way around the Crash in Game by fiddling with the Game Graphic setup....
    So it was not the OC problem and not the graphic card also.....

    I am now running Orthos For 1 hour 45mn still ok Temperature Show 44c

    What more can i do to make sure It is stable at 3.6 for 24/7

    Is is wise to stop at this Clock speed or will i see a lot of improvement
    going to 3.8 or mabe 4.0......

    You will need more vcore and termination for 4ghz for sure. Its reachable with your chip im sure.

    I will try using Intel Burn Test for 20 runs at least before stable.

    Update...

    20 pass Intel burn test ok temperature reach 55c the Highest.

    It looks like I have reached my first OC target....

    not without Your help........and The Original bios sample by Outer Marker....

    Very keen to Continue until 4.0 if it's not to difficult....

    Wow thanks alot. That bumped my framerate up alot. Also getting alot higher average fps. My processor must of been bottlenecking my videocard alot. Thanks again
