    Default GA-EP45-UD3R POST/REBOOT LOOP...c'mon!!!

    God damn aggravating!!!
Tested on F3, F6 and F7a BIOS's...any decent overclock, and when I try to resume from sleep or do a full boot/restart, the damn thing powers up for 2 seconds and shuts itself off for 4 seconds...and keeps doing this until I kill the power at the PSU. At which point it starts up with the same clock settings as before!! Not default clock settings, like a no POST issue. And it's all fine until I shut it off again...

    Running F3 or F7a BIOS, I'm solid as a rock at 3.6Ghz (400X9 and 450X8 FSB) and 1200Mhz on 4 X 1GB of Flex XLC RAM...
Prime95 for 3 hours and I barely past 61 degrees on the CPU...
F6 BIOS sux at 400 and 450Mhz...385 to 390, rock solid again...
1.45V vCore and 2.2V RAM, and that's all! Everything else auto...
Brand new OCZ 700W SLI PSU...
All is good except this damn boot issue...

Prime 95 is no guarantee that the system is fully stable. Sleep mode is actually a good indicator I just found out myself again. I just swapped my CPU and the system passes Prime for hours but still was not fully stable.
Adjusting CPU Reference form the standard 63.3% of CPU Termiantion helped me here, try values from 60-67%.

Went to adjust CPU Reference...it's not adjusted by percentage, only value!? 0.76V.
Do you want me to up it by 65%? 1.254V?
    Sounds like an aweful lot...

My P5Q never did this...but if I went too far, it would hang at POST...a simple reset and your back in business...
Man, I can't wait for it to come back from RMA...
What's REALLY pissing me off, is yesterday, it worked perfectly at 3.6/1200...I could put it to 'sleep', wake it, restart it, shut it off, and boom...right back into Windows...
    Today, NOTHING!

rev 1.1 board with F9 final bios. I have the wake from S3 endless reboot issue with my Q6600 at 400 x 8.

CPU voltage is at 1.35v and Load Line Calibration is enabled. Ram is pinned at 400mhz x 2.00 and everything else including timings is set to auto.

Same ram and memory was rock solid in my GA965P board. Ram is OCZ platinum PC6400.

I agree with original poster - damn aggravating.

You'll have WAY better luck with the F7a beta BIOS...

FYI I do not get this behavior when running at up to 390x9. All other bios settings the same. I'm wondering if I should look at buying new RAM. I've been using this set for about 2 years. I don't want to buy it and not have it work though.
