    Default ep45-ud3r/q9650 overclock

    I tried a forum search with no results so hopefully Im not repeating an old thread.
    I recently replaced my cpu with the q9650 and I tried the et6 software to get the 3.6 overclock but that only resulted in a blue screen after a few minutes. I have no experience with overclocking in the bios so I was hoping someone had something close to my set-up and could give me a starting point.

    Ya Easytune would not be best to overclock with, most use it for small tests or to check values.

    Can you please link me to your ram

    For now, you can try this. I just really needed your memory link to check warrantied voltages. Just set to what you see on the ram sticker or a little above

    Memory voltage is listed as 2.0-2.1v on the box.

    Tried the settings but nothing look different once I got into windows. CPU-Z didnt show any speed or voltage changes. Rebooted back into the bios and go the message:

    The system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking or changes of voltage.

    Last settings in this page may not coincide with current h/w stats.

    That Red Warning box means your overclock was not applied. You may see the same settings you set in the BIOS but they will not be used, defaults will.

    Sounds like you need some more Vcore possibly then. And I do see a issue or two as well. So use these settings exactly and if they fail as well raise the vcore a bit at a time until it works, then you can work on lowering things later
