I also tried himem.sys in config.sys, but still out of memory. I'm using an msdos 6.22 disk. Would you prefer a different boot-os ?

Hmm, please just format a floppy and choose "Create MS DOS Boot Disk" or if you are using USB, or Can please follow the guide I made in this thread >>

Sounds like your method of DOS is causing the issues

    Hmm, very odd.

Maybe that AWDFlash don't like your system? Do try a USB Drive, then if no luck maybe another version of AWDFlash is needed? I have never had an issue though so not sure what would cause that for you?

    Hi,

I created the usb disk as asked and there are no errors now, still I have the message "Please Wait" for over 30 minutes now, how long should the flash take ? And what should I do, If this screen remains ?

Did you use the /r switch in the command line? If so it should have rebooted by itself, and it should only take a minute at the most.

Sounds like it failed to reboot, you may just have to chance it and reboot the system and see that all is ok

    awd873.exe E7AUMD2H.f3a /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /r

That was the command in het autoexec.bat

And I rebooted, but the message is still there and the cmos settings haven't changed, so I assume the flash failed ?

Ok, good your board is ok!

Please try that again, but add an /f in the command switches and see if the same thing happens.

If so you may need to try a different AWDFlash. Or I can PM you a tool to use

    hi,

yes, same thing, except, it now gives the message "please input file name" instead of "please wait".

    Keyboard does not respond...

i had to cold boot the pc (i had to do that in my previous attempts as well)

I guess the flash program crashes at some point.
