Default LG GH20LS15 SATA Drive - halting on boot-up sequences (X48-DQ6)

Hi. I have problem with my LG GH20LS15 SATA Drive. Sometimes on boot-up sequence (Driver detecting...) my computer halts, I see only Gigabyte mobo logo (or Bios logo) and the LED on LG Drive blinks (sometimes I have to power off the computer wait some seconds, and turn ON my PC, then all is OK). When I unplug this driver all works perfect. I have tried with other SATA slots, but I have similar results. Now, I have HDD connected to 1st SATA slot, and LG Drive for 2nd SATA slot. LG Drive was tested on other computer and all works good... My BIOS version is F8A.

Move the DVD to the 3rd or 5th port & see if that helps.

It doesn't work. I have the same problem. I have decided to use JMicron Purple SATA connector. IŽll see if that works.

Your CD/DVD drive should be connected to the last physical port/ports (SATAII4 or SATAII5) on the Intel (Yellow) controller, or yes you may also use the Gigabyte/J.Micron Controller if you wish
