    @Lsdmeasap

    i think you're wrong, i'm not a newbee at all.
    my settings are correct , my overclocking succeed in windows , the cpu is overclocked.
    The flashing method also is good, i'm fairly sure it's a bios problem.
    You ask me why i don't use the F4, the answer is on my first post.

    What are you testing with in windows, and for how long? I did not say anything about you being a newebee I was just stating how things work

    Just booting into windows and using it does not mean things are stable, which you of course know.

    Have you tried out F6b or F6 final yet? Those BIOS's are fine aside from possible issues which you have not mentioned in this thread so they should work fine for you. And do keep in mind all settings will not always work the same between BIOS versions, some may need more or less volts, ect.

    yes i'm trying the F6b now.

    with the F4 bios i tested the i7 920 at 4Ghz for 30hours cpu 97-98%, works fine , stable.
    with other bios impossible to reach windows with same settings, even if i increase the vcore of the cpu.

    Maybe more QPI or less of something may be needed. I know between some BIOS more or less QPI and Vcore may be needed.

    Sorry about that, I meant F5 final, it has been posted (2/26/09). So many Beta BIOS's I have seen this month between the UD5, Extreme, and my board I was confused
